The International Baccalaureate (IB) has signed a formal collaboration with Cognia through a memorandum of understanding (MoU). Through this partnership, the IB and Cognia will collaborate to benefit their network of schools and events, allowing both organizations to learn from each other as they optimize their evaluation and reaccreditation processes and deepen their impact. The streamlined process will begin by offering parallel school visits to reduce the burden on schools and improve their satisfaction with both organizations during these processes.
The MoU agreement signed by Olli-Pekka Heinonen, Director General at the IB, and Dr Kem Hussain, Senior Vice President for the International Regions & International Strategy and Development at Cognia, formalizes the relationship between the two organizations. Cognia, a nonprofit educational service company, will work alongside the IB to offer schools parallel visits combining IB evaluation and Cognia reaccreditations visits, streamlining processes for both organizations globally.
