As reported by ncee.org, the Center on International Education Benchmarking (CIEB) and the National Institute for School Leadership made a weeklong benchmarking visit to Shanghai in May, during which they visited the Shi Xi High School that was recently authorized to offer the IB Diploma Programme.
As follow-up to their visit, CIEB Policy Analyst Nathan Driskell spoke with Ligel Lambert, a pre-IB art teacher at Shi Xi and asked him to reflect on how high schools differed across these jurisdictions and what the IB offers students at Shi Xi.
