With our partner, Pamoja Education, we are doing everything possible to support those in our community impacted by the war in Ukraine.
We want to ensure that students are able to continue their Diploma Programme (DP) studies with minimal disruption. Students who can no longer pursue school-based instruction due to the war will have the opportunity to transfer to the Pamoja Online Course at no cost for the remainder of the 2021-2022 academic year. Students will be provided with individualized support to ensure that their transition is as smooth as possible.
“With Pamoja Education, we are committed to support our students and ensure continuity of learning. Education is our greatest source of hope, and we must protect it in every way possible”,
noted Matt Costello, IB Chief Business Development Officer.
We are already in close dialogue with four schools from Ukraine. We are also prepared to support more schools and families as needed.
We sincerely hope that the war in Ukraine will end soon and only impact the 2021-2022 school year. However, if students are unable to return to their schools in 2022-2023, Pamoja will continue to waive all enrolment fees.
