An IB Examiner Responsible oversees a subject in which there are fewer than 1,000 students.
The Examiner Responsible works closely with the Subject Manager to provide effective, reliable and continuous leadership of all assessment activities within a subject. The role demands the commitment of an experienced education leader with a strong background in the required subject specialism.
This position is part-time, involves no relocation, and is usually undertaken in addition to existing work commitments.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Subject Manager.
- Provide effective, reliable, and continuous leadership of all assessment activities (including production of assessment material, standardizing, marking, and grade awarding) within your subject.
Requirements
- Applicants must have a degree or equivalent in the subject (or a related subject) for which they are applying.
- Applicants must have a minimum of one year’s experience teaching and assessing the subject (or a related subject) to students in an appropriate age range:
- MYP: 14 to 16 years of age
- DP/CP: 16 to 19 years of age.
- Applicants must be native speakers/fluent in the language of the course for which they are applying and must be able to read documents, write reports and mark students’ written and spoken responses in that language.
