IB Head of Middle Years Programme Development, Robert Harrison, explains that international education is needed now more than ever, in order to help address global challenges that cross national borders, cultures and ethnicities.

These problems can only be solved by working together and so IB students, equipped with the 10 key attributes that make up the IB Learner Profile, have a unique opportunity to make a difference.

“Our great hope is that the IB can inspire schools to stand as beacons of humane, high-quality education. And we hope that the IB inspires other education systems to value global engagement, open-mindedness and a commitment to life-long learning.”
