  • Hiroe Hu – Kobe, Japan

    Hiroe Hu graduated from the IB Diploma Programme (DP) at the Canadian Academy in Kobe, Japan and continued her studies at Brown University, USA. She is currently conducting research at University of California San Francisco before her final year of medical school at Touro University California.

    Robert Tomalin – Duino, Italy

    Robert Tomalin graduated from the IB Diploma Programme (DP) at the United World College (UWC) of the Adriatic in Duino, Italy. Today he is a dedicated educator and serves as the Director of Colegio Gran Bretaña in Bogotá, Colombia, an IB World School.

    Ervin Liz – Flekke, Norway

    Ervin Liz graduated from the IB Diploma Programme (DP) at the United World College (UWC) Red Cross Nordic in Norway. He continued his studies in economics at Luther College in Iowa, USA. Today, he is the co-founder of Colombian Coffee Connection LLC (CCC).

    Amy Hernandez Turcios – California, USA

    Amy Hernandez Turcios graduated from the IB Diploma Programme (DP) at Highland High School in California, USA, and is now an MBA candidate at Harvard Business School.

    Luis Sfeir-Younis – Caracas, Venezuela

    Luis Sfeir-Younis graduated from the IB Diploma Programme (DP) at Escuela Campo Alegre, Venezuela before completing his undergraduate studies at American University, Washington D.C., USA and receiving his master’s degree from the London School of Economics, UK.

    Reid Saaris – Washington, USA

    Reid Saaris graduated with the IB diploma from Interlake High School, USA, and completed his undergraduate studies at Harvard University and his master's in both business and education from Stanford University. Now he is the CEO and Founder of Equal Opportunity Schools.

    Marc Brunssen – Salem, Germany

    Marc Brunssen received his IB diploma from the Schule Schloss Salem in Germany and continued his studies at the London School of Economics. He now works for the Boston Consulting Group and is an MBA candidate at Stanford University, California, US.

    William Micklewright – Essex, UK

    William Micklewright graduated from the IB Career-related Programme (CP) at the Anglo European School in Essex, UK, and continued his studies in Business and Management at the University of Kent, UK.

    Victor Scotti Jr. – Illinois, USA

    Victor Scotti Jr. graduated from the IB Diploma Programme (DP) at Morgan Park High School, Illinois, USA. He currently works as a Global Black Community Advisor at Google and continues to serve as an advocate and mentor in his local community.

    Cameron Tepper – California, USA

    Cameron Tepper received her IB diploma from the International School of Los Angeles, USA, in 2014, and is now studying Media Studies at the University of California, Berkeley.

    Kwabena Amporful – Tema, Ghana

    Kwabena Amporful graduated from the SOS-Hermann Gmeiner International College in Ghana. He completed his B.A. studies at Hampshire College and his MBA at Stanford University. Since then he has founded the Institute of Teacher Education and Development (INTED) among many other things.

    Rona Ji – Washington, USA

    Rona Ji received her IB diploma from Interlake High School, USA. She is currently a senior at Yale University studying economics and ethnicity, race and migration.

    Robin Ye – Oregon, USA

    Robin Ye is a graduate from the International School of Beaverton, USA, and currently works as a Field and Political organizer at the Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon (APANO) located in Southeast Portland.

    Hannah Liddell – Wellington, New Zealand

    Hannah Liddell completed her IB diploma at Queen Margaret College, New Zealand. She currently specializes in project management, airport planning and design at an engineering consultancy, hoping to foster sustainable thinking in the industry.

    Oluwatoyin Asojo – Victoria, Canada

    Oluwatoyin Asojo is a graduate of Pearson College UWC, Canada. She has a PhD in chemistry and currently works as an educator and researcher.

  • Karin Bjerde – Shanghai, China

    Karin Bjerde received her IB diploma from the Shanghai American School in China, and continued her studies to complete a Masters in Economics and Business at the Stockholm School of Economics. She is now Head of Growth at Kognity, a company that provides intelligent textbooks to schools in over 75 countries.

    Aneeka Rahman – Pennsylvania, USA

    Aneeka Rahman graduated from the IB Diploma Programme (DP) at the George School in Pennsylvania, USA, and continued her studies at the University of London, UK. She is now a senior social protection Economist World Bank based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

    Dr Robin Brooks – Florida, USA

    Dr Robin Brooks graduated from the IB Diploma Programme (DP) at North Miami Senior High School, USA. She holds a PhD in English from the University of Florida and is currently an assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh.

    Alexandra Eguiluz – Buenos Aires, Argentina

    Alexandra Eguiluz graduated from Saint Mary of the Hills School in Argentina, and currently works for KidZania, a company that combines learning with entertainment for children.

    Henry Parham – Springfield, Australia

    Henry Parham graduated from the IB Diploma Programme (DP) at Mercedes College, South Australia. He is currently working in the field of international development.

    Kim Lewis – Illinois, USA

    Kim Lewis graduated from the IB Diploma Programme (DP) at Morgan Park High School, USA. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration with a double major in supply chain management and marketing from the University of Illinois. Kim is the co-founder of the Chicago-based hair care start-up CurlMix. 

    Ayodele Odutayo – Ontario, Canada

    Ayodele Odutayo graduated from the IB Diploma Programme (DP) at Turner Fenton Secondary School, Canada. He recently completed his PhD in epidemiology at Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar and now works as a physician-scientist.

    Clara Saéz Calabuig – Geneva, Switzerland

    Clara Sáez Calabuig completed the IB Career-related Programme (CP) at the International School of Geneva, Switzerland, in 2017. She now studies at the University of the Arts London.

    Kerease Epps – Illinois, USA

    Kerease Epps graduated from the IB Diploma Programme (DP) at Morgan Park High School in Chicago, Illinois, USA in 2009. She is currently a Policy Analyst for the Illinois State Board of Education. 

    Alexis Thompson – Georgia, USA

    Alexis Thompson completed the IB Career-related programme (CP) at Hardaway High School, Georgia, USA. She studied early childhood education at Albany State University and now works as the Executive Assistant to the Mayor of Columbus in Georgia, USA.

    Jessica Kain – California, USA

    Jessica Kain received her IB diploma from the International School of Los Angeles, USA and now lives and works in Mustang, Nepal, serving as Founding Director at the Marpha Foundation and the Rosehips Center for Creative Learning.

    Ganesh Annan – Virginia, USA

    Ganesh Annan graduated from the IB Career-related Programme (CP) at Robert E. Lee High School in Virginia, USA. He went on to study at Virginia Tech in the field of computational modelling & data analytics.

    Sarah Brun – Stavanger, Norway

    Sarah Brun graduated from the IB Diploma Programme (DP) at the International School of Stavanger in Norway and now works for UN Women in Egypt, working towards women’s rights in the Arab region.

    Mason Ji – Washington, USA

    Mason Ji graduated from Interlake High School, USA, with a bilingual English-Chinese IB diploma. He has worked at the United Nations as a member of the Republic of Seychelles delegation and served as a White House ambassador for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
