In 2023, Scotch College opened its doors to remote learners both locally and internationally through its online school, Scotch Global.

Scotch Global caters for students aged 12 to 25 through its three streams: Connect, Thrive and Accelerate. Recognizing the need to prepare students for a rapidly changing world after secondary education, the school has designed its learning model to embrace new technologies, implement progressive teaching practices and promote the IB’s Approaches to Learning. Combined, these elements create a flexible, inclusive, and personalized learning experience. Scotch Global looks to meet students where they are in their learning journey, enhancing student agency through the self-efficacy of every child.

While other schools have already embraced online education, Scotch Global aims to go further by investing in teacher training, state-of-the-art technology and generating bespoke resources.
