Getting results

For the International Baccalaureate® (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) and Career-related Programme (CP), there are two examination sessions each year in May and November.

Accessing examination results

Students and alumni can access their examination results from May 2018 onward via the candidate website.

To access your results, follow these steps.

  1. Contact your programme coordinator to obtain your login credentials, which include a personal code and individual PIN.
  2. On the login page of the candidate website enter your login credentials carefully, as they are case-sensitive.
  3. If this is your first time accessing the site, you will need to read and accept the terms and conditions by clicking 'I Accept' at the bottom of the page.
  4. To view your results, click either on the View results button or select the Results tab at the top of the screen.

For results information previous to 2018, you can submit either a transcript or replacement certificate request on the IB Request for results service page.

Legalization

Legalization, sometimes referred to as homologation, is the process of authenticating or certifying a legal document so an institution will recognize it. For most students, legalization of their IB certificates is unnecessary. However, sometimes legalization is required for a few reasons, including university enrolment and school legal requirements.

  • Requesting DP transcripts and certificates

The International Baccalaureate (IB) provides an official transcript of grades for the DP. Before results are released, candidates can request to have results sent to six universities free of charge—and request to pay for additional transcripts as well.

  • Join the IB's global alumni network

The IB is extremely proud of its graduates, and the alumni network connects them with one another and with the IB community.

Members of the alumni network receive opportunities to get involved in IB projects and to share their stories.

Students who will graduate in the next two years are encouraged to join.
