Become an IB school
By becoming an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, you join a worldwide community of over 5,800 schools, that deliver IB programmes to students to help create a better and more peaceful world through cultural understanding and respect.
The IB offers four programmes:
- Primary Years Programme (PYP, for students aged 3–12 years)
- Middle Years Programme (MYP, for students aged 11–16 years)
- Diploma Programme (DP, for students aged 16–19 years)
- Career-related Programme (CP, for students aged 16–19 years).
Our frameworks are deliberately flexible, empowering students, teachers and schools to tailor an education that is appropriate to their culture, context, needs, interests and learning ability. An IB education aims to uncover and develop the best in every child, and research shows that IB students perform better than their non-IB peers.
With this solid academic foundation, the IB produces students with transferable, future-ready skills and an internationally recognized education. It uncovers and develops the best in every child. And it prepares citizens of tomorrow, who are ready to step up as leaders and contribute to their world.
