Feedback and complaints

The International Baccalaureate® (IB) welcomes feedback on every aspect of its work and uses the information it receives to make services even better.

We value your views and aim to make continuous improvements based on the feedback we receive. Both positive and negative feedback is welcome and we will do our best to turn issues into action. 

Please use the guide below to ensure that your enquiry or concern is directed to the appropriate department:

  • If you have an enquiry or wish to provide general feedback to the IB on its products or services, please contact IB Answers.
  • If you have concerns relating to practices occurring within the IB or an IB World School, please refer to the IB's whistleblowing policy.
  • If you have concerns relating to a product or service accessed directly from the IB (examples include professional development workshops, transcripts ordered via the IB website or products purchased through Follett), please refer to the IB’s complaints procedure.
  • If you have concerns about assessment decisions, please refer to the Assessment section of the General Regulations document for the relevant programme in the IB resource library.
