Hiroe Hu – Kobe, Japan
Hiroe Hu graduated from the IB Diploma Programme (DP) at the Canadian Academy in Kobe, Japan and continued her studies at Brown University, USA. She is currently conducting research at University of California San Francisco before her final year of medical school at Touro University California.
Kalyani Subbiah – Singapore
After gaining a scholarship to study the IB Diploma Programme (DP) in Singapore, Kalyani returned to India to pursue an integrated master’s degree in humanities and social sciences with a focus on development studies. Her goal is to continue to pursue academics while working to improve the lives of those around her.

Elif Vardar – Istanbul, Turkey
Elif Vardar is an IB Diploma Programme graduate from Istanbul, Turkey. She believes the IB allowed her to take classes in areas she already had interests in, while developing skills and being exposed to subjects that she would not have otherwise known about. After completing the DP, she attended the Ontario College of Art and Design University.
Neamah Hussein – Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Neamah graduated from the Diploma Programme at the Dubai International Academy in 2013. She attends Princeton University, where she is studying computer science. She is currently an intern at Facebook.

Hugh Ho-Sun Hsu – Shanghai, China
Hugh Hsu completed the IB Diploma Programme (DP) in 2015 at Fudan International School. He is currently attending the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) where he is studying global business. He is interested in entrepreneurship and startup companies after he completes his studies.
Karin Bjerde – Shanghai, China
Karin Bjerde received her IB diploma from the Shanghai American School in China, and continued her studies to complete a Masters in Economics and Business at the Stockholm School of Economics. She is now Head of Growth at Kognity, a company that provides intelligent textbooks to schools in over 75 countries.

Hande Güzel – Istanbul, Turkey
Hande Güzel completed the Diploma Programme at Eyüboglu Schools in 2007. Hande has earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and international relations, a master’s degree in comparative studies in history and society, and is currently attending the University of Cambridge, where she is pursuing a doctorate in sociology focusing on the body, gender, sexuality, and medicine.
Stephanie Xin Yue Gao – Shanghai, China
Stephanie Xin Yue Gao received her IB diploma at the Shanghai American School, China. She is pursuing her university studies with interests in literature and critical theory, English, book and media studies, and visual studies.

Aimee followed both the MYP and the DP at the International School of Tianjin in China. She now works in purchasing and procurement.
