Call for proposals

Behind every great school is a great leader. During this time of continued change, dynamic delivery is happening in your schools every day and we want to hear from you!

Are you interested in presenting a breakout session at the International Baccalaureate (IB) Heads World Conference 2022? We invite interested heads of school to submit a breakout session proposal under the theme 'Embracing innovation, inspiring action'. Innovative solutions often emerge from complex challenges. Students, parents, teachers and leaders all contribute to fostering a culture of learning that promotes innovation and inspires the action needed to respond to global issues.

Sessions may include professional applications, scholarly analyses, skill-building programmes or case studies. When planning your session proposal, you may wish to consider the following subtopics.

  • Diversity, equity and inclusion,
  • Impact,
    • Celebrating commonalities across cultures,
    • Developing passions,
    • Schools/learning for the future,
  • Leadership: Challenges, failures and growth mindset,
  • Wellness.
