Why well-being matters during a time of crisis

Last updated:

This resource is a narrated video presentation, aiming to support educators, school leaders and learners.

The presentation is based on a published research paper, 'Why-well-being matters during a time of crisis’, by Dr Magdalena Balica, Senior Policy Research Manager for International Baccalaureate Organization. The paper focuses on the three of the most common aspects encountered by schools during times of crisis:

  • Dealing with fear and anxiety
  • Managing the feeling of being behind
  • Dealing with uncertainty
