Steve Bollar
Steve Bollar is an educational thought leader and a school culture and motivation expert. He speaks to students, staff and communities around the world about how to think differently about schools, education and life. Steve openly shares his knowledge, experiences and creativity with audiences.
Having served as an art teacher, principal and superintendent of schools during his career of more than 23 years, Steve understands the challenges that organizations can encounter and how to overcome them with creativity and communication. Steve has authored books on leadership and school culture, Stand Tall Leadership and Ideas Ideas Ideas which focus on strategies organizations can use to increase morale, change the culture and improve the climate for their students and staff.
Chia Suan Chong
Chia Suan Chong is a communication skills trainer, an intercultural skills trainer and a teacher trainer based in York, UK. She specializes in interactive workshops that encourage reflection for more effective international communication and improved collaboration.
As well as being a writer, Chia has produced training materials for various organizations. Her book Successful International Communication was published in December 2018. In it she presents her ADAPT model as a framework for dealing with interpersonal and intercultural conflict.
Born and raised in Singapore, Chia graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies, specializing in broadcast and electronic media. She also holds a Cambridge Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (DELTA), an MA in applied linguistics and English language teaching from King’s College, London, and a Business Cultural Trainer’s Certificate (BCTC).
Chia has trained executives from companies such as Filippo Berio, Generali, Bilfinger, Novo Nordisk, McKinsey & Company, EDF, BMW, metaphacts GmbH, KellyOCG and T. Rowe Price.
