Heads and principals
As head of an IB World School you play an important role in the governance of the IB. Heads advise the IB on its programmes and services and contribute to an ongoing discussion about the philosophy, objectives and methodologies of international education.
Heads standing association
You belong automatically to the IB's heads standing association (HSA), which meets every two years in different locations around the world. The last world conferences took place in Singapore on 13-16 October 2011. The next is in Buenos Aires 3-6 October 2013. The HSA is ruled by a constitution (PDF, 70.7kb).

The Global engage web site supports members of the IB community, and particularly teachers, in engaging with wide-ranging issues of global significance.
