Online professional development workshops
The International Baccalaureate® offers a wide range of online professional development workshops for new and experienced coordinators, teachers and administrators in all of our educational programmes and for the continuum.The workshops are taught mainly in English. However there are a growing number of workshops offered in French and Spanish.
IB online professional development workshops have been developed to complement regional face-to-face workshops, widening access for teachers from all IB regions. Find out more information here.

The online curriculum centre (OCC)
The OCC is a curriculum information and resources web application for all teachers delivering one or more of the three IB programmes. Its mission is to develop and nurture an international online community, which in turn fosters a culture of collaborative learning and exchange—all to reflect the IB's overall mission.
The OCC is organized by curriculum area, with additional areas relating to librarians, special educational needs, calculators, academic honesty and the work of the IB research unit. Each area contains content-specific news and information, relevant IB publications and documentation (including teacher support materials) and, where appropriate, a teacher resource exchange and dedicated discussion forum.
All teachers in IB World Schools, and those applying to become IB World Schools, have access to the OCC. Teachers can obtain their username and password from the school's programme coordinator, who will create accounts for their colleagues via IBNET.

Workshop resource centre
The workshop leaders resource centre supports leaders in their role as professional development facilitators in IB-approved workshops. It supplies workshop leaders with:
- the latest resources
- assistance in planning for workshops
- quick and efficient pathways for communication.
The workshop resource centre contains areas dedicated to IB resources and workshop pack preparation, as well as resources developed by workshop leaders themselves. There is also a dedicated discussion forum.
