Who is the CP for?

The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Career-related Programme (CP) is open to any student aged 16-19. There are CP students all over the world.

In order to offer the CP, a school must be authorized. The authorization procedure is designed to ensure that schools are well-prepared to successfully implement the programme.

Once authorized, all IB World Schools are required to participate in an ongoing process of review and development.

The CP is designed for students interested in pursuing a career-related education in the final two years of secondary school. It provides them with an excellent foundation to support their further studies as well as ensure their preparedness for success in the workforce.

All students have to study a minimum of two Diploma Programme (DP) courses as part of the CP.

How do students benefit?
