Middle Years Programme

In the Asia-Pacific region, there are 111 IB World Schools in 18 countries offering the Middle Years Programme.
New and interested schools
We welcome your interest in the International Baccalaureate® (IB) and look forward to working with you as you seek to implement the Middle Years Programme in your school.
The following outlines the path to becoming an IB World School.
The IB Asia-Pacific office is responsible for guiding schools in understanding the standards, principles and practices of the Middle Years Programme and in implementing the programme. Any request for information or guidance should be directed to the IB Asia-Pacific office.
Further key information for interested schools and all the documentation for the process is available on the "Become an IB World School" page.
Schools interested in implementing the programme should complete a School information form (intent to apply) as an indication that the school is commencing its feasibility study. There are no costs associated with this form.
IB copyright and branding
A school may not advertise itself as an "IB World School" authorized to offer the Middle Years Programme, nor may it commence the teaching of the programme, until it has received official IB authorization.
Please read the guide to publicizing your plans.
