New research on the IB

The IB has released two new research briefs on the IB in the Americas: “Title I IB Schools (2009-2010)” and “Key findings from research on the impact of IB programmes in the Americas region.”

According to the Title I research brief, “Overall, more than half (56%) of IB public schools (IB World Schools or candidate schools) were designated Title I. Of that 56%, the majority (71%) are Schoolwide Title I. 40% of all US IB public schools offer Schoolwide Title I programmes.”
