Regional Communications Manager Ref 714a

The post holder will manage the development of the regional communications strategy to ensure a consistent, global approach in the marketing and communications strategy within the Africa, Europe, Middle East region. The post holder will manage different activities and projects that address the communications needs of the region’s different audiences, both internally and externally.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A recognized bachelor degree, preferably in communications or marketing
- At least 5 years’ experience in communication roles in an international environment
- Proven media relations experience
- Experience of managing time sensitive cross-department projects
- Excellent written communications in English, demonstrated in ability to write good newsletters, brochures and web pages
- Excellent communications skills to work with people from different culture
- Good knowledge of IT, including working with a content management system for the web
The salary package will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
Location
Position will initially be based in Geneva, Switzerland and is planned to relocate to The Hague in The Netherlands in the second half of 2011.
