Middle Years Programme (MYP) associate regional manager
2 year contract based in Geneva, Switzerland

Under the direction of the MYP regional manager, the MYP associate regional manager advises, facilitates, supports and informs the development and expansion of the MYP in schools throughout the Africa, Europe and Middle East region (IBAEM). The role involves organizing, conducting and monitoring school visits; selecting, training, coordinating and evaluating workshop leaders; contributing to the development of MYP professional development services and representing the programme at workshops and conferences. Due to the nature of the work this role involves extensive travel (including many weekends) throughout the region.
A relevant degree along with considerable MYP experience as a teacher and/or MYP coordinator is a requirement for an application to be considered. Excellent written and spoken skills in English are essential and knowledge of French and/or Spanish would be a distinct advantage. High-level organizational and interpersonal skills are necessary for this post and excellent communication skills both written and oral are essential. We are looking for candidates who are creative, sensitive to cultural differences, flexible, open to feedback and can work in different teams identifying priorities and meeting deadlines.
Interviews are likely to be held around early February 2007.
