Curriculum and Assessment Manager - Middle Years Programme (MYP) Ref 216
Salary: £30,000 - £35,600 per year

You will be the author of curriculum guides, curriculum support documents, and teacher support materials in three main areas of the MYP (Language A, Language B and Physical Education). You will also manage the development and implementation of assessment practices in these areas.
You will be a qualified secondary/middle school teacher with significant teaching experience, at least 2 years of which must be in a school authorized to implement the MYP. Experience of supporting the development of the MYP as a programme coordinator/principal, an MYP workshop leader, or a school visitor/mentor is desirable. You will have experience in curriculum development or supporting the learning of other adults. You will also be able to show evidence of further professional learning. You will be an excellent communicator, attentive to detail and flexible enough to accommodate a variety of work arrangements. You will be able to lead and work within teams. A good command of English is essential and knowledge of French, Spanish or Chinese would be an advantage.
This post is based in the IB office in Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom and will involve some international travel. IT skills, including the ability to use a variety of desktop applications are essential.
