The examinations administration department is responsible for the successful delivery of two examination sessions each year for schools in over 120 countries. This is achieved through teams of skilled staff dedicated to various aspects of administration, including a team responsible for advising schools on the administration of the IB Diploma Programme and a team responsible for the administration of subjects. The work is intensive, requires a high degree of personal organization and initiative, and there is an occasional requirement to work out of normal office hours (including weekend working). You will be a good communicator with a high level of IT skills in the use of databases and word processing, be educated to at least IB diploma or A level standard and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a six month fixed term post to cover maternity leave. The post holder will join the team of advisory officers on the coordinator help desk, with particular responsibility for advising schools on the administration of the Diploma Programme, implementing standard procedures and responding to enquiries from schools. Applicants must have excellent customer service skills and be highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel 2007. Working hours require on call cover out of normal office hours during May. Previous experience of working within a customer service environment is desirable.
