Administrative officer - Language services
Salary £15,768 - £21,023
The department currently has eleven members of staff of six different nationalities. Its main role is to provide quality control for the documents produced by the organization in French, Spanish and Chinese and to provide a translation service to different parts of the organization. Working in this busy multicultural environment, your role will be to provide secretarial and administrative support. Your main duties will include corresponding with external language professionals, dealing with internal customers’ requests, maintaining tracking systems, and providing assistance to the language services manager.
You will be qualified to “A” level standard, IB Diploma or equivalent, and have at least one year’s administrative experience. You will have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and strong ICT skills, especially in Excel and Word. The ability to communicate effectively in English is essential, and a working knowledge of other languages would be an asset.
