A position has arisen to manage one of the application development teams within the Cardiff office. Reporting to Head of Applications in the IT department, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all application software development allocated is completed efficiently, effectively and promptly. You will manage a small team of developers who will use the necessary analysis and programming skills to develop new software.
You will have detailed knowledge of Agile methodologies, preferably using Scrum. You will work closely with the other application development team leaders to assist with the review and improvement of development policies, procedures and the introduction of methodologies, in addition to ensuring that procedures are followed, and that there is consistency between the teams. Good communication skills are essential
