Oaktree International School, Kolkata, West Bengal's first International Baccalaureate (IB) World School is now seeking applications from I.B. –experienced, innovative, enthusiastic and well-qualified graduate teachers to become a part of the existing faculty team.The School offers the IB MYP, DP and IGCSE curriculums. We are the first truly international school in East India authorised to teach IB DP in the senior level. In the middle school section, we offer the IB Middle Years Programme ( MYP ) in addition to the Cambidge Checkpoint and IGCSE.

While most of our founding faculty has been recruited, we are still looking for teachers eager to get involved with establishing a new school. There are full time positions available in the following disciplines Teacher of Physics Teacher of Mathematics Coordinator & Teacher of ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher of Drama & Theatre Teacher of Music to set up a new Music Department In addition, if you are interested in combining your teaching duties with joining the Residential team, please also include these in your letter of application.

The right teacher for these positions is dynamic and embraces a residential school environment, including weekly boarding and CAS duties. You should enjoy the opportunities afforded in establishing a new school and have a clear idea of what you would add to the founding team. Previous IB DP teaching experience will be preferred for those positions which include teaching in the DP. The Coordinator & Teacher of ESL will have a comprehensive background in bringing beginning English speakers to a level in which they can comfortably meet the demands of our rigorous academic curriculum.
