Risk and Internal Audit Manager Ref 706s

The Risk and Internal Audit Manager position is created to co-ordinate global procedures and policies for implementing and managing all aspects of risk management, including business continuity planning (BCP), and internal audit in order to ensure organization compliance in these areas and raising awareness.

The jobholder will be the principal IB point of contact with the internal auditors (external company), establish the annual internal audit plan in cooperation with the internal auditors and IB senior staff, and undertake the process for appointment of internal auditors at the conclusion of contracts.   S/he will prepare reports on risk, BCP, and internal audit for the audit committee and may be required to report to that committee on occasions.

Within these contexts, the jobholder will work extensively with colleagues from other IB departments  (covering all regions) for the effective functioning of the risk management process, including staff responses to internal audit recommendations and to disasters, including annual exercises in disaster recovery as part of BCP.

Requirements:

  • A business degree with post-graduate professional qualifications and experience that would provide the level of knowledge and ability required for the position
  • Proven experience in risk management and one or more of Business Continuity Manager & internal Audit  in a multinational organization
  • Experience in raising risk awareness in a multinational organization
  • Strong risk analysis skills and experience in identifying risks  to an organization through various means
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Knowledge of risk management software applications
  • Ability to manage teams across regions and provide leadership in BCP and its annual exercises
  • Proactive planner with attention to detail
  • Ability to multi task and prioritize

The post is based in Singapore.
