Regional Head of Programmes

The Asia-Pacific regional office has a vacancy for the post of Regional Head of Programmes. This is a key management role in the regional office. The Regional Head of Programmes will oversee the work of the three programmes teams and take overall responsibility for the quality assurance of IB programme implementation in schools in the Asia Pacific region.
The successful candidate is likely to be an experienced, qualified, highly successful educator in an IB world school. The ideal candidate will have had experience in a leadership role in varied educational settings including at least 3 years experience as an IB programme coordinator and ideally some experience as a workshop leader, examiner or on a curriculum team. The candidate must be familiar with at least two of the three IB programmes and have wider knowledge of the Asia Pacific region, including familiarity with practice and policy in the different educational systems of the region. The post holder must be a self-starter and an excellent communicator who is able to work effectively with people from a wide variety of cultures.
The post will entail considerable travel throughout the region, including some weekend absences from Singapore.
The salary package will be commensurate with the level of this post and its location. Reasonable relocation expenses will be available for the successful candidate.
