The International Baccalaureate Organization (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation which works with more than 2,200 schools worldwide. The Regional Office works with schools, Universities and Ministries of Education throughout Asia Pacific. The IB has a vacancy in the Singapore office for a test analyst:
Accountabilities
- Test applications created by both in-house developers and external providers to ensure the highest quality of software is released for use
- Design, develop and implement formal test specifications and test scripts through the analysis of design and technical documentation
- Liaise with developers to ensure that any incidents/defects are addressed
- Participate in daily scrum meetings and other regular sprint meetings including reviews, retrospectives and planning sessions
- Occasional travel is required
Requirements
- Minimum IT related tertiary education
- Proven business experience of software testing on numerous projects, including writing formal test documentation and executing test scripts
- ISEB/ISTQB foundation certificate in software testing (or equivalent) will be advantageous
- Ability to use technical data manipulation techniques including the use of SQL
- Practical experience of UML, agile methodologies and working in scrum teams
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of spoken and written English
