IBEN Associate Ref 725a

The IBEN Associate is responsible for assisting the IBEN division in overseeing the IBEN community by handling administrative responsibilities, facilitating volunteer events and workshops, communicating with volunteers regularly and handling the volunteer databases.

The IBEN associate will:

• Be responsible to send out invitations to site visitors, consultants and workshop leaders, as solicited by the IBEN programme specialists.
• Inform Professional Development/Events team of confirmed workshop leaders and informs School Services departments of confirmed site visitors/consultants.
• Be responsible for maintaining educators’ data to ensure the information is accurate and IB standards and goals are being met.
• Respond to educators’ queries/complaints either directly or by forwarding information to the corresponding department.

Requirements:

• Bachelors’ degree required and/or a combination of experience, education and training that would provide the level of knowledge and ability required for the position
• Successful educational administration experience, business and/or volunteer systems
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
• Experience in electronically maintaining and managing data
• Exceptional presentation and writing/editing skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Ability to work within a fast paced environment
• Ability to take initiative and manage a wide scope of projects
• Excellent IT skills
• Fluency in English and Spanish. French is a plus
