Global Finance Systems Managers Ref 729s

Reporting to the Global Financial Controller, the Finance Systems Manager will manage and develop the IB’s Oracle financials and non-Oracle financial systems, software, interfaces and environment on a worldwide basis. S/He will provide finance systems support to all individuals and teams in the global finance function, which includes systems administration, assistance with report writing, systems functionality guidance, responding to Oracle systems queries and delivering Oracle systems trainings requirements.


This role plays a key role in strategic and project activities such as providing Oracle financial systems and guidance in the development of efficient transaction processing solutions, the design of accounting and reporting structures and the functionality of Oracle interfaces with non-finance systems. This includes working as a core project team member, project planning and scoping activity, workstream planning and progress reporting.


The post holder will be expected to work effectively with people from a wide variety of cultures, working with members of both the global finance team and the wider IB support services function.


Requirements:
• A good bachelors degree from a recognised university in the relevant field
• Prior knowledge and experience in accounting in addition to technical accounting and finance practices, in an international business environment
• Proven experience in managing and maintaining Oracle financial accounting systems. Experience in other similar ERP Financial suite would also be considered.
• Demonstrable track record as an Oracle Financials system administrator and/or super-user, having primary responsibility for an Oracle Financials system
• Proven experience working as part of an Oracle Financials project team (e.g. systems implementation, transition, module introduction or systems improvement project)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work across different cultures
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Able to travel when required (Extensive travelling may be required in the first year of assuming the role.)

The post is based in Singapore.
