Administrative Officer -(archiving) Office Support Facilities Ref 241

Salary £13,769 - £18,360 per year (starting salary £13,769)

Closing date: 6 March 2008

Reporting to the senior archiving officer, you will deliver office support facilities services to the IB Cardiff office and outsourced suppliers in line with the operational procedures handbook and the strategic plan. You will primarily operate the digital data archiving service for the Cardiff office in line with the scanning schedule.

Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, you will be highly IT-literate and you will have proven office administration skills in a busy, service oriented environment. You should have good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to analyse information and produce clear and accurate reports. You will have proven experience of maintaining information on a database and your experience should also include at least some of the following areas: office support facilities administration, mailroom activities, stationery ordering, archiving, and basic photocopier maintenance. A full clean UK driving license is essential to provide cover driving a van between the IB’s two sites in Cardiff.
