Recognition of IB diploma for admission to universities and colleges
Cyprus
The Government of Cyprus has signed the European Convention on the Equivalence of the Diplomas leading to Admission to Universities and conforms to the provisions of this Convention.
Overseas students may be admitted to the University of Cyprus provided they are holders of high school certificates and have a good knowledge of the Greek or Turkish language. The candidates should be able to demonstrate a good academic record and may be interviewed or requested to take an entrance examination.
