Take part in the IB’s global lesson – 21 September 2009

Peace and ConflictThis September the IB invite you to become involved in our second global lesson as part of the IB community theme. This year’s lesson is peace and conflict and will take place on the UN’s International Day of Peace on Monday 21 September 2009.

We encourage you to join with others all over the world in lessons or activities at your IB World School. In this way our actions as individuals and also together, form part of the IB community’s and the world’s response to this important issue.

 

How can you join in?

  • Make peace and conflict a theme across programmes or in assemblies
  • Introduce peace and conflict related activities into subject lessons
  • Involve parents and non-teaching staff at your school to become involved in activities.
